How can i book online?
Booking your ski and snowboard lessons in Kaprun is easy!
1. Go to the preferred category and choose the requested course and
click on "Book Online" - button icon directly besides the title of the course.
2. Specify the date and the starting time (Private Lessons) and fill in the
requested information about the participant. Click on addidional rental to
receive campaign prices!
3. Click "add to basket" - icon to add the chosen course into the shopping cart
➜ To add more participants to the same course just press the
"add another person"
➜ Add more products or persons to your shopping card by
repeating step 1. to 3.
4. Click on "zur Kassa/Check out" - button in the shopping cart to
confirm your choice or erase several courses before.
5. Please fill out your credit card details, e-mail adress and accept our
terms and conditions. We accept Visa and Master Card
6. Finalize and submit your reservation by clicking on "send reservation"!
Your reservation will be confirmed by Hartwegers Ski und Snowboard Schule instantly.
When booking online we only debit € 80.- from your credit card as pre-
payment. As soon as the payment gets confirmed we are going to send
an e-mail confirming your booking including all informations concerning
the lessons within 72 hours.
➜ Please pay the rest of the amount at the check-in desk at our main office
in Kaprun. To receive reduced "online tarifs" you are obliged to pay with
cash-money or per transaction via bank account.
In case you have to cancel your reservation You are able to do so including
the refund of your pre-payment until 7 days before the course is starting!

Snowboarders and skiers together or seperate?
In general we avoid to instruct skiers and snowboarders together in one group.
Exceptions?
• Yes. With private instructor only. Please contact us!
Why do we not recommend to instruct, coach or guide snowboarders
and skiers together?
• Showing and demonstrating of the correct movements by the instructor is
important for the students
- The instructor is not able to demonstrate both sports at the same time!
• Snowboard/ski student have different demands on slopes or freeride-terrain
• The optimal tuition and the safety of all participants can not be guaranteed
anymore...

• The Meeting Points at Maiskogel are easy to find!
They are situated close to the bottom station of Maiskogelbahn (MK-Bahn),
close to the ski-bus station (Line K1,K2,Dorfbus)
- Beginners and children group lessons gather at Meeting Point - Augasse
- Intermediate and advanced adult groups gather at Meeting Point - Hütte
- Intermediate and advanced private lessons meet at Meeting Point - Hütte
Meeting Point Kitzsteinhorn:
• In autumn and spring or if there is too little snow in the valley
• Meeting Point Kitzsteinhorn is found inside the Alpine Center (2450m)
on the Kitzsteinhorn at the Info Center
Check-In one day before your lesson starts to confirm your meetingpoint!
During the week other meetingpoints and meetingtimes may occur. So please,
always ask your instructor where and when you´ll meet the next day!

How to find us in Kaprun!
The Main Office of Hartwegers Ski und Snowboard Schule in Kaprun
is easy to find: 
If coming by car on road B 168 turn left in the roundabout in Fürth towards Kaprun turn left before the tunnel towards the center of Kaprun.
300m ahead You find us in the second building directly after the "Baum Bar" on the righthand side of the road (Siegmund Thun Strasse 12).
Our office is situated in the new Design-Hotel "Die Schneiderei" and will be open for you around middle of December!
Our other office, our rental store and beginner area for first - timers is situated just 50m away across the river in Augasse 5.

Additional days - How to book?
| Ski and Snowboard Group Lessons for adults and youths as well as for children outside of holiday periods last just 3 days at maximum. Group Lessons are carried out from a minimum of 2 participants. Group Lessons can start daily!

Group Devision - Organization of Groups:The groups are mainly devided according to the abilities/levels of the participants. Informations about the correct equipment and how to dress
"In the mountains there´s never bad weather - just bad equipment!"
What should you focus on when it comes to the equipment?Clothing: You should wear good underwear that keeps the body dry and warm Pants and Jacket should be wind-proof and water-repellent. "Dress yourself like an Onion": Wrinkle-free ski-socks that are higher than the shoe. Socks should be dry and it is recomendable to put on the socks instantly before putting on the skiboots (condensation) - Just use ONE pair of socks! By wearing more socks you have less space for your feet inside the boot and blood circulation is clammed - which leads to cold feet... Protect the throat! Either use a turtleneck-shirt or you utilize a textile collar. A thin scarf is nice to have in case it is very cold windy and snowing. A close fitting thin hat under the helmet is recomendable and is enjoyed by many. Also so called "storm hats" that cover neck and mouth are very popular. Warm, water-repellent gloves or mittens.
Ski and Snowboard Equipement: We recommend to rent or buy your equipment at local rental stores or sport shops. - Makes it much more convenient as you can easily change your gear, in case something is not suiting you... Nevertheless, if you still want to utilize the equipement of friends or relatives, make sure to get the euipement and the bindings (obligatory) checked before the lessons start by a professional. Moreover, please make sure that the skis/snowboard is well wachsed and that the edges are not rusty and scratched... Ski length: chin-high at maximum for children, for beginners up to the chest-hight Pole length: aprox. the hight of the belly button Snowboard length: Chest-high Snowboard width: Not much wider then the sole length
Further important equipement items: Fitting Helmet (obligatory for kids up to 16 years old) Sunglasses or goggles Sun protection creme (UV-30) and Cold protection creme (Fat-creme) for cold days

7. Rescission
For group lessons a rescission from the contract up to no later than 17:00 (5pm) of the
previous day (one day before the booked service starts) is possible without
accumulation of a cancellation fee. If the cancellation takes places at a later time, how-
ever, Hartweger’s Ski & Snowboard School is entitled to demand the agreed tariff to the
extent of a full daily rate.
For private lessons a rescission from the contract up to no later than 17:00 (5pm),
3 days before the startdate of the booking is possible without accumulation of
a cancellation fee. If the cancellation takes places at a later time, however,
Hartweger’s Ski & Snowboard School is entitled to demand the agreed tariff to the
extent of the booked hours per day.
In respect to group courses a reimbursement of payments already made is only
possible with accidents with presentation of the original receipt and with a medical
certificate from a local doctor. The amount to be reimbursed is re-calculated on the
basis of the actual services performed for this time period. The total amount is
reduced thereby, however higher daily rates may apply. With rescission during current
service or with non-appearance at the agreed date no reimbursement takes place.
When the weather conditions cannot guarantee that the services will be carried out
for safety reasons, Hartweger’s Ski & Snowboard School reserves the right to postpone
or cancel the services.
However, only in cases of cancellation Hartweger’s Ski & Snowboard School is obliged
to refund a proportional fee, the contract partner is not entitled to make a further claim
in this regard.
Addendum to point 7. Recission:
Covid-19: Cancellation conditions
If an arrival or stay in Kaprun is not possible due to official prohibitions (Land Salzburg,
Auswertiges Amt, WHO, ...) caused by the Corona virus, then a free cancellation is of
course possible at short notice!
Any payment already made will be refunded if the development of Covid-19 leads to
measures that could prevent your skiing holiday in Kaprun, or participation in one of
our courses/private lessons.
Free cancellations are possible especially if there is an official travel warning for our
ski area or if there is a lockdown!
In the event of illness at Covid-19 at short notice before, during or after arrival at the
holiday destination, payments already made will be refunded after a medical
certificate has been presented.
Cancellations are subject to our General Terms and Conditions (AGB).
